Been thinking about lifestyle changes for some time? Then join us on Health Adventure. Living Long and Healthy mostly has to do with the choices we make. Health is largely dependent on our lifestyle. We like to teach you what a healthy eating pattern looks like, based on a vegetarian diet. We'll teach you how to get moving (and we'll actually do it!) and how that affects you. And we give you active guidance throughout the process, so that you learn to know your own pitfalls and so that later you don't fall back into your old pattern. After twelve weeks you have taken a good step towards your new lifestyle.
We teach you a healthy diet. We are certainly not going to count calories; this is not a crash diet. Your own goals must be realistic. You will be inspired by new recipes and a varied diet. You will also learn to put together your own healthy meals.
We gather once a week. After the first informative and preparatory meeting, you complete a digital test, which shows what you see as your points for improvement. Then you convert the points of improvement yourself (possibly with help) into achievable goals. Each week we will discuss themes related to healthy living that will help you make your goals reachable. Together we exercise; walk or run. In a group we discuss the possible frustrations and the progress, as a stimulus for yourself and each other. But we are also practical: we do not only exchange experiences, but also recipes.
