About us - Who we are and what we stand for

This is how we treat each other:

We respect each other's opinions.
We forgive each other.
We speak positively about each other.
We support each other with a loving and sharing attitude.

We base that on the following values:

Together we believe in God, our creator. We stay in contact with him through prayer and by studying His word.
We are there for each other, share fairly and help each other.
Decisions are always made after we prayed for it.
SAmen can be a safe meeting place this way.
We believe in the principle of pray and work.

Our biblical authority:

Jesus is SAmen's great example.
Together we form a whole with each of us having our own talents.
To achieve this, SAmen prays before each decision.
SAmen is inspired by the mission given to us by Jesus.

The assignment reads as follows:

Being his witness in this world. (Acts 1:8).
Coming together and encouraging one another in this. (Hebrews 10:25).
Moving toward our goal. (Philippians 3:14).
Be joyful, grateful and kind. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Being good to others. (Hebrews 13:16).
Thinking positively and not worrying. (Philippians 4:4-8).

SAmen's vision

Our dream is for SAmen to be a safe meeting place where we share God's love so that people come to know God's love.

SAmen's mission

Our hearts overflow with God's love and that's why we share it with everyone. We are eager to fulfill the great commission.
We share this love by organizing activities that fit the needs of the environment throughout Almere.
